Caribbean Fisheries training and Development Institute. Captain Wild and the students.

On September 26th, 2019 twenty-two students from the Diego Martin Secondary School visited the Institute accompanied by their Department Head and a Guidance Officer. During their visit, the students were exposed to possible career opportunities in the Fisheries and Maritime sectors using a mix of audio visual presentations, lectures and guided tours through the various training departments. More importantly they received academic advising as to the subjects and basic skills that are required to pursue a career in both sectors. The areas visited consisted of the Fish Processing Hall, Testing laboratory, Product Development room, Marine Engineering area and the Engineering unit (Facilities Maintenance).
